Kubica back on top in warm-up

In ideal conditions the F3 front-runners burst into the 2 minute 11 second bracket for the first time here in Macau in the morning warm-up practice session. Polish driver Robert Kubica set a scorching pace in a time of 2 mins 11.485 seconds to top the timesheet in preparation for this afternoon's big event. He is driving a Dallara-Mercedes for the Sheffield-based Manor Motorsport team. In second place came Alexandre Premat of France in a time 2 mins 11.754 secs. Lewis Hamilton, the winner of the qualification race yesterday finished third in the session as the cars are given a final tune-up before the Grand Prix final due to start at 15:45 this afternoon.
