Day 23: Carson City, Nevada

To Incline, Nevada to find the old Bonanza theme park which traded off the TV series until 2004. The locality was used for some scenes in the original TV show. The site is shuttered and there is little visible from the road.
We drive past Lake Tahoe to Truckee, California. We see the Amtrak California Zephyr heading westbound. We drive through the Donner Pass and return via Interstate 80 at 7,240 feet.
We head into Reno and check out the car auction and swap meet. This Hilborn-injected nailhead Buick-powered Model T hot rod reportedly has the motor from Tony Nancy's 22Jr.

The swap meet has more sellers than buyers and many stalls are packing to go. I buy a copy of Hot Rod Magazine from January 1965.
